Euposìa-The wine magazine was founded in December 2002. Its name derives from the ancient greek word for 'Drink well' and highlights the magazine's aim, that is, let the people know something more about wine, terroirs and firms producing wine in Italy and abroad.
The strong point of our magazine are the blind tasting sessions. From the beginning of the publication there have been a hundred of these sessions, which are called 'blind' because the tasters don't know the wine producer's name while they are tasting. An harmonic team of journalists and sommeliers, directed by Stefania Vinciguerra, organizes these blind tasting sessions.
Euposìa - directed by Beppe Giuliano - is edited by ConTesto Editore Scarl, a journalist co-operative society which publishes even other national and regional magazines. Nicoletta Fattori is the magazine's chief editor.
Since 2002 we let the people know something more about cultivation techniques and wine cellar's work of lots of more-or-less known firms.
Another main point of Euposìa are the inquires. They are conducted from the customer's point of view and their aim is to protect and highlight the most qualified Italian products. Euposìa is present at the main national fairs.
